February 14, 2024 is Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of the Lenten Season. Mass in Chinese and the imposition of ashes will begin at 12 noon, followed by Stations of the Cross in Chinese.  The practice of imposing ashes on the foreheads of the faithful is normally done during Ash Wednesday, reminding us that it is a special time for repentance.

Fr. Jianmin Bai will conduct a Lenten retreat in our church on Saturday, February 24, 2024, with the theme “The connection between the Eucharist and Holy Week”. The retreat will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. He comes from the Diocese of Zhaojun, Hebei Province and was ordained a priest in 2013.
